The Curing process can vary from a few minutes when using FastBreak™ catalyst to 24 hours depending upon weather conditions. Temperature and humidity play key roles in how fast coatings cure. HouseGuard™ waterproofing membranes are no different. Higher humidity and colder temperatures result in slower cure times. Low humidity and higher temperatures result in faster cure times. Films are initially cured when they are dry to touch and no free liquid is found beneath the surface skin and protection board may be applied at this time. Protection board should never be applied over wet, uncured membrane.
